The Jammu Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a man for sexually assaulting a minor boy in Srinagar.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a minor boy was sexually assaulted by a man in the Gulshan Bagh area of Srinagar after which the parents of the minor filed a complaint at the Safa Kadal Police Station.
In response to the complaint, one accused namely Wahid Ahmed Sofi of Gulshan Bagh, Srinagar was arrested.
“One accused namely Wahid Sofi of Gulshan Bagh, #Srinagar arrested for an unnatural sexual offense with one minor boy ( name withheld). A case under relevant sections registered in Safakadal PS,” Jammu Kashmir Police tweeted.
