A 12- year old boy died due to drowning in a river Sukhnag in Rambil singhpora area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Irfan Dar Son of Shabir Ali Dar who is a resident of Trehgam Malikpora sumbal drowned to death on Wednesday afternoon while he was taking bath.
Irfan drowned in Sukhnag stream at at Pattan while he was taking bath along with other local boys.
After the incident, the locals rushed towards the spot and retrieved the body from Sukhnag river and rushed him to trauma Hospital Pattan for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.
The Jammu Kashmir Police has taken cognizance of the incident.
