A minor boy tragically drowned while bathing in Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Tuesday a boy identified as Mohammed Salim (9), son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie from Hassanpora, drowned in the river Vishow while taking a bath.
A rescue operation was launched immediately after the incident, and his body was later recovered from the river.
The police have taken cognizance of the incident.
