On Monday, a 15-year-old boy was tragically stabbed to death by another youth in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that the teenager was found bleeding in a drainage area after which he was quickly taken to a nearby hospital and then transferred to GMC Anantnag, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
Locals said that victim was with his friends on a barbecue party, when he had a minor argument with his friend, who stabbed him with a hot barbecue rod.
Police said that the the accused into custody where they are being questioned and further investigation has been launched.
The necessary medico-legal formalities have been conducted and the body has been handed over the family for the last rites.
His family calling it a murder have demanded stringent action against the accused.
