The Chairman of Ummat e Islami and Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Qazi Ahmed Yasir after his 9 day detention visited the family of slain Militant commander, Shakoor Ahmed Dar.
Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir expressing solidarity with the family said that ,”Kashmir has been witnessing the bloodshed for a long, the world community should wake up to stop the bloodshed and press India for an early resolution of Kashmir issue.

Mirwaiz South Kashmir later led a massive pro Freedom demonstration to the grave of Shakoor Dar and called for a complete boycott to elections and said it would be the best tribute to pay to the slain commander.
Mirwaiz Qazi Yasir later offered Fateh Khawani at the grave of the slain Lashkar e Taiba Commander.
