A young man who had been reported missing was found dead under distressing circumstances inside a mosque in the Sarnal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district early Friday morning.
The youth has been identified as Adil Gulzar, a resident of Papyibal in Ashajipora area of Anantnag town. Local sources told The Kashmiriyat that his body was discovered inside Masjid Shareef in Sarnal, under mysterious conditions.
The sudden and mysterious nature of his death has sent shockwaves through the local community, with many demanding a thorough and transparent investigation into the incident.
Police officials confirmed that they have initiated a probe and taken cognizance of the matter.
