
A married woman has gone missing from her home in south Kashmir’s Qazigund area.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the family members of Nowreena Akhtar, wife of Adil Ahmed Yatoo, a resident of Sangdan Urigam said that Nowreena is missing since 6th August.
“She is survived by two children; 4 years old and 9 years old. She left her home on 6th August for small work, but has not returned since,” a family member said.
She said that the family kept looking for her till the late evening of 6th August but couldn’t trace her.
“On the next morning, we filed a missing report at Qazigund Police Station,” he said.
“For the last 8 days, we have searched every nook and corner. We have left no stone unturned. We request everyone to inform us or the local police if you see her,” the family member appealed.
