A Few Moments before, the Divisional Commander of Lashkar e Taiba, Abu Dujana was killed in a gunbattle with Government Forces, a new audio conversation of Dujana is doing rounds over the internet.
In this nearly 9 Minute Conversation, Dujana is heard speaking to an Army officer who as per Sources is the Joint Commanding Officer of Indian Army based in Awantipora.
After initiating the talk, the local villager handed over the phone to the army officer.
“Kya haal hai? Maine kaha, kya haal hai (How are you. I asked, how are you)?” Dujana is heard asking the officer. The officer replies: “Humara haal chhor Dujana. Surrender kyun nahi kar deta. Tu galat kar rha hai (Why don’t you surrender? You have married this girl. What you are doing isn’t right.)”
Dujana laughs loudly and rejects the marriage “propaganda” and says the is a defamation campaign against me “I have not got married here, this is all propaganda to defame Duajana,” he is heard responding to the Army officer.
Dujana responding to a question says “Hum nikley they shaheed hone. Main kya karu. Jisko game khelna hai, khelo. Kabhi hum aage, kabhi aap,”
He is further heard congratulating the Army officer, “Aaj aapne pakad liya, mubarak ho aapko.” (I had left home for martyrdom. What can I do? Today you caught me. Congratulations).
Refusing the call to surrender, Dujana says “Surrender nahi kar sakta. Jo meri kismat may likha hoga, Allah wahi karega, theek hai? (I won’t surrender. Allaah would do whatever is there in my fate)” Dujana went on to say.
With a Rs 15 lakh bounty on his head, Dujana was labelled an ‘A++’ – the top grade.
