Municipal Council Sanitizes Jamia Masjid and Several other Mosques in Anantnag

The Municipal council in Anatnag sanitized several key gathering points including the Jamia Masjid in the Anantnag township of South Kashmir.

Employees of Municipal council in the township reached the Jamia Masjid in Reshi Bazar and sanitized the entire premises of the Masjid as covid cases continue to surge across the Kashmir valley.

The Imam of Jamia Masjid has asked people to adhere to covid protocols and maintain physical distancing inside one of the largest mosque of South Kashmir.

The Municipal council employees also sanitized various other mosques in the South Kashmir township including several Khanqahs.

Meanwhile five persons have been tested positive for covid 19 at the district court of Anantnag after which the president of Bar Association has said that there will be a complete lockdown in District court premises Anantnag from 25-04-201 to 30-04-2021.

He said, “All the lawyers have been advised to refrain from visiting the court upto 30th of April 2021.” A communique of Principal District judge Anantnag reads that all the cases will be taken up through virtual mode by all the presiding officers.
