On Directions of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, President of Municipal council Kokernag, Fayaz Ahmad itoo along with concerned officials of various departments including Mohd Yasin (NT Kokernag), Mohd. Yousuf TSO Kokernag, Tariq Ahmad Drug Inspector Sub Division Kokernag held market checking in Kokernag and its adjacent areas.
During Market checking amount of Rs. 1700 was collected as fine from shopkeepers who were violating the norms and huge quantity of rotten Vegetables, and expired food items was destroyed on spot.
Meanwhile speaking with The Kashmiriyat Municipal Committee President Kokernag Fayaz Ahmad itoo interacted with the shopkeepers and urged them to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by Govt and maintain sops for the public benefit.
Shopkeepers were requested to use masks, gloves, sanitizers and soap hand wash etc to maintain hygiene in their establishments.
