Chairman Mooj Kasheer Welfare Trust Jammu and Kashmir and young social activist from Kashmir Mr. Amir Rasheed Wani on Sunday was honored with the “guest of honor” on the finals of Muzamil Premier League T20 cricket tournament.
The Grand Finale Of Muzamil Premier League (MPL) T20 Cricket Tournament was played between Rising Star Chewdara v/s Beerwah Bulls at Gulshan Ground Manchhama.
Beerwah Bulls won the toss and decided to bat first, and got all out on 143 runs. Mr. Umer was the highest scorer from Beerwah Bulls, who scored 43 runs.
While chasing the said target, Rising Star Chewdara only took 14 overs and won the grand finale. Mudasir who took 4 wickets won the title of the Man of The Final Match.
Mr. Umer who scored 230 runs and took nine wickets throughout the tournament adjudged Man of the series. The Director M M Group Of Companies and a Prominent Social Activist From Manchhama Beerwah, SHO Beerwah, Peerzada Mohammad Shafi Shah, and Amir Rashid Wani Chairman Mooj Kasheer Welfare Trust acted as Chief Guests.
While talking with media fraternity, the guests highlighted the importance of games and sports among youth and requested them to not get involved in drugs and other wrong activities, and also appealed the govt. to release funds for further widening and providing of other facilities to Gulshan Ground Manchhama.
