National Lok Adalat was organised by the District Legal Services Authority in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) today, at District Court Complex.
Six Benches were constituted for holding of the said National Lok Adalat, all over the district, under the supervision of Principal District & Sessions Judge and Chairman DLSA Anantnag Syed Tawqeer Ahmad along with Munsif Judge Moha,mad Altaf Khan and Sub Judge Rafia Hassan Khaki who are also the members of District Legal Services Authority Anantnag (DLSA).
Out of 157 cases, related to recovery suits, MACT, Electricity cases, Civil and Matrimonial cases, taken up in the said National Lok Adalat, a total settlement amount of Rs. 9919966 was awarded in favour of 66 settled cases.
Meanwhile under the supervision of Mobile Magistrate,Mohammad Ashraf bhat in Bijbehara court complex more than hundred cases were settled.
