“Nobody can stop operation all out, in fact when Government Forces go out on an operation,there is no stopping them,” Mehbooba Mufti said on Tuesday while calling the recent statement of Farooq Abdullah a mere election gimmick.
She said that National conference has deceived the people of Kashmir, and when the Central Government thrashed the autonomy resolution, the NC did nothing in retaliation.
While responding to a question by The Kashmiriyat correspondent during her convention at Dak Bungalow in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag), Mufti said that the children dying at that time were like her own children and she gave that statement as a “mother.”
Mehbooba Mufti said that her Government has done whatever they could. “We want people to give us a clear majority,” she said. Repeating her 2016 statement, she said, she has done a lot in the past for the people of South Kashmir, “I have taken them out of Army camps.”
“We shall try to save Militants and make an attempt to rehabilitate the families, the Government of India should also speak to the Militant leadership,” she said.
Questioning the timing of the chargesheet in JNU Sedition row, she said BJP is playing the Congress election card. “Congress before elections hung Afzal and now BJP wants to do their bit before elections to woo voters.”
