Unknown burglars barged into a storage shed and stole nearly 420 boxes of apples in Pahnoo area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, unknown burglars broke into the shed of a local orchardist named Mohammed Ashraf Malik, a resident of Pahnoo.
“When we came to our orchard on Monday morning, we witnessed that the tarpaulin sheet covering the boxes had been brought down and nearly 420 apple boxes packed in the store room stolen away,” they said.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat a local grower told that we are already dealing with the rate downfall and now our apples are being stolen. “We urge the local police to take cognizance of the matter.” he said
