The forces on Thursday claimed to have arrested a fresh recruit of Lashkar-e-Taiba militant outfit in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that during a patrol that was laid by joint team of Army’s 19 RR, SOG and CRPF at Shahabad area of Dooru, a newly recruited militant was arrested.
The official identified the arrested Militant as Muzammil Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat, a resident of Dooru.
Muzammil, as per sources had joined the Militant ranks on 27 September, 2020 by posting his picture on social media carrying AK 47.
The officer said a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
