
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at three different locations in Kashmir and a house at Bhatindi in Jammu.
Reports said that Mehraj-u-Din Sofi, 19, and his father Ghulam Mohammad Sofi were picked up by the NIA early morning from Kralpora village of Kupwara.
The duo has been taken to Srinagar for questioning. Mehraj-ud-Din is pursuing B.Com from Government Degree College Kupwara.
The NIA also carried out raids in Kulgam and Shopian.
The case pertains to the criminal conspiracy for carrying out militant and subversive activities hatched by the cadres and Over Ground Workers (OWGs) of various proscribed organizations and their affiliates, reports said.
Meanwhile, in Jammu, the NIA raided residence of Dr Parvez Mir at Bhatindi on the outskirts of Jammu City.
