Member of Parliament Srinagar, Aga Ruhullah has denied the rumours of quiting the National conference Jammu Kashmir.
“There are no plans of quiting the JKNC and there are not disagreements with anyone in the party. The reports are baseless and unfounded,” Aga Ruhullah Mehdi said while dismissing the resignation rumors.
Several media outlets had run reports that Aga Ruhullah Mehdi was quiting the Jammu Kashmir National Conference after disagreements with Omar Abdullah.
Aga assured his commitment to the National Conference, stating, “I am part of the NC, and I won’t go anywhere.” He also confirmed his attendance at the oath-taking ceremony, scheduled for tomorrow.
While commenting on support from Kejriwal, Aga Ruhullah said, “He is part of the INDIA bloc, and while I don’t wish to say much, I must remind him that Jammu Kashmir is suffering. Before advising us on governance, he should introspect and offer an apology to the people of J&K. We will respect his partnership in the alliance if he does so.”
