No Encounter has taken place anywhere in the Kashmir valley, as rumours have spread, however such rumours are bound to spread, In absence of any proper means to verify the authenticity of the news amid a complete ban on Mobile internet services in the valley, rumours are finding prominence in the Kashmir valley.
The Kashmiriyat has received phone calls from as far as Kupwara and many other areas to verify if Riyaz Naikoo, a top Militant commander had been killed during any encounter, which is a rumour spreading like wildfire since morning today.
In absence of any proper medium to check the authentication of the news, people are calling each other to verify if Riyaz has been killed during any encounter in Pulwama, while some rumours suggest that he has been killed in Heff Shermal, however our reporters on the ground have ridiculed these rumours.
The Kashmiriyat reporters on the ground from Zainapora belt of Shopian and in Pulwama parts confirmed that no encounter has taken place anywhere in Kashmir valley after the killing of prominent Militant commander, Zakir Musa.
The Police officials also called the rumours as baseless.
