The Government Forces late night on Tuesday conducted nocturnal raids in the Dwalatabad area of Qazigund in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that government forces entered inside the houses of Locals, however the locals including women came out in huge numbers and threw stones on forces, triggering intense clashes.
The Clashes continued till 2 am, however the Police later left the area without arresting anyone, Sources said.
They said that forces later stopped in a nearby area Kuchipora where three youth were arrested one of whom has been identified as Ashiq Ahmed of Kuchipora.
Police Officials refused to comment on the arrests and said they will soon tell the details about the arrests made during the night.
