An encounter has started between Militants and Government Forces in the Batgund area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 34 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation late night on Saturday,
Earlier Forces had launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
More reinforcements have been called to the spot as troopers have installed search lights over the area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
