Massive searches are underway to trace the non-local labourer who drowned in the Jhelum river in south Kashmir.
Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday one non-local labourer drowned while he was extracting sand from Jhelum river in the Patalbagh area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s District Pulwama.
As soon as the officials received information, a massive search operation was launched to find the body of the non-local labourer, however, no success has been achieved as of yet, they said.
The search operation has entered its third day, they said.
