A Shutdown is being observed on Thursday in Langate, Zaengeer, and Handwara areas of North Kashmir over killing of two local militants on Tuesday.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Business establishment’s are shut and traffic is off the roads.
The mobile internet service and class work in Government Degree College (GDC) and Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) remained suspended for the second day as a precautionary measure in Handwara in Kupwara.
Meanwhile the Sopore town is also observing a shutdown as a gunfight has raged in the area.
Two Local Militants Liyakat Ahmed of Harwan Sopore and Furqan from Handwara had been killed in a gunfight on Tuesday in Kupwara.
