The second Militant killed in the encounter at Chattergam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam District has been identified as a Sopore resident.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the second slain militant killed with Naveed Jatt has been identified as Mehraj ud Din Sofi, a resident of New colony area in Sopore of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The slain militant’s body has been handed over to the family.

Naveed Jatt and Mehraj u Din were killed in an encounter with government forces at Chattergam village in Budgam on Wednesday.
Mehraj was an over ground worker (OGW) who escaped while going to the bathroom October 05 and later Joined Militants.
