Four youth have been injured as forces fired tear smoke shells and pellets at the youth who were holding protests against the elections in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) area.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that four youth have sustained pellet injuries during intense clashes that erupted in Dehruna area of Dialgam in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (anantnag) district.
They said that one of them has been shifted to District hospital of Islamabad (anantnag) in Janglat Mandi while three were treated locally.
Hospital Sources in DH Islamabad (anantnag) confirmed the identity of the youth as Adil Rashid Malik son of Abdul Rashid Malik.
He has sustained pellet injuries on his face and throat.
Intense clashes were going on in the locality when this report was filed.
