An army soldier was killed while two others were injured when a snow avalanche hit a army post in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat that three soldiers were injured when a snow avalanche hit their post in Tangdar sector on Wednesday morning.
All the injured soldiers were rushed to Kupwara hospital where one among succumbed to his injures, the official said.
The deceased was identified as Nikil Sharama of 7 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army.
