One Militant has been Likely killed in the ongoing encounter that started between Militants and Government Forces in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla District early morning on Thursday.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 29 RR of Indian Army, SOG of Police and CRPF jointly launched the Anti Militancy operation.
Earlier Forces had launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area upon receiving a specific input about the presence of Militants in the area, Sources told The Kashmiriyat.
The holed up Militants fired on the forces triggering a Gunfight, 3-4 Militants were initially believed to be trapped in the area, sources told The Kashmiriyat.
Meanwhile Sources informed that a group of local Militants has been trapped at the site of the encounter.
