Suspected Militants on Friday opened fired upon a party of Government Forces in Zirpora area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a Patrol Party of 90 Battalion of CRPF was fired upon by Militants at Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District.
As per initial reports, One CRPF man has been killed in the attack, one civilian is also believed to have been killed in the attack.
Hospital Sources upon being contacted told The Kashmiriyat that one of the dead bodies that has reached the hospital is of a minor boy, who is a resident of Yaripora area in Kulgam.
The boy has been identified as Niyan Bhat, a minor from the Yaripora area of Kulgam District in South Kashmir.
The whole area has been Cordoned off by Special Operation Group of Jammu Kashmir police and CRPF.
