One trooper killed, three others injured as colleague opens fire

On Saturday, one trooper was killed, and three others were injured in a firing incident in the Udhampur area of Jammu Kashmir.

Reports reaching The Kashmiriyat stated that One ITBP Jawan reportedly lost his life 3 others were injured after a Jawan fired with his service rifle at Udhampur.

Meanwhile, official sources said that a trooper namely Bhuperndra Singh allegedly opened fire on his colleagues injuring three Government force personnel.

“Bhupendra was also killed in the firing incident while three others identified as Dalle Ram, Akhleel Malik, Gore Rajnikant, a part of ITBP, were shifted to the local hospital for treatment,” they said.

It is pertinent to mention that it the the 2nd incident in 24 hours. Earlier, an army soldier was killed and three others injured in an alleged fratricidal firing at a camp in Surankote area of Poonch district on Friday
