A 21-year- young boy has gone missing from his home missing in the Batote area in Ramban. Reports said that 21-year-old Samir Malik, son of Mohammed Sadiq Malik, a resident of Batote area has gone missing from his home since 11th of May. A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel was found dead on Thursday morning in his room at National HydroElectric Power Corporation Private Limited (NHPC) in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. At least 24 sheep including 8 lambs were buried alive when the earth caved in near a Crusher Machine site in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. Working in Rural Development Department remained affected for the third consecutive day on Wednesday as MGNREGA Engineers Association continued with their pen-down strike in favour of their ‘long pending’ demands. In Udhampur district, authorities have deputed at least 70 engineers from various departments for the “estimation of area development works (DDC, BDC, and PRI).
