Two residential houses damaged in Sonwar blaze

Two residential houses were damaged in a fire incident at Palpora, Sonwar area of Srinagar in the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday. Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that two residential houses belonging to three families namely Mohammad Farooq Parray, Farooq Ahmad Parray and Bilal Ahmad Parray were gutted in a fire incident at Palpora area of Sonwar. They said that the fire was controlled by F&ES department with the help of locals and there was no loss of life or injury to any in the incident. Kashmir Snowfall- KU, CUK and Cluster university postpone all exams scheduled today

Universities in the Kashmir valley have postponed all exams scheduled today in view of the heavy snowfall across the region. Central University of Kashmir announced that the exam which was scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday (February) 23 stands postponed. The University spokesman said fresh dates for the postponed exams will be notified separately. 21-yr-old BSC Nursing student found dead in Srinagar

Danishwar Hameed A 21-year-old BSC student was found dead in Saida Kadal area of Srinagar on Tuesday evening. A 21-year-old BSC nursing student identified as Adil Aziz Khan of Kulgam was found unconscious at his rented accommodation in Saidakadal area of Srinagar. Wanghat residents in Ganderbal irked over dilapidated road condition

The residents of Wanghat and its adjoining areas in the Kangan tehsil area of Ganderbal District are facing a lot of problems due to the dilapidated condition of the road. As per the details, Wanghat is a remote area of Ganderbal district which is 13 kilometers away from sub-division Kangan. Revenue official in Bijbehara suspended over ‘casual approach’ towards stopping of encroachments
