Sheikh Nadeem Residents of Anderwan and Alchiward areas in the Anantnag district are aghast against the shortage of drinking water supply for the last several years. Earlier on Friday, the aggrieved residents including women and children sloganeering against Public Health Engineering (PHE) department staged a protest. A 26-year-old biker killed in a road accident in south Kashmir's Anantnag district on Sunday evening. Reports reaching to GNS said that a bike (JK03-5689) ridden by Mukhtar Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Hassan a resident of Hassanpora lost control over the bike and fell down from bridge and got seriously injured. He was immediately shifted to PHC Aishmuqam for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
