The remarks of Mehbooba Mufti came in the backdrop of BJP Union Minister’s son getting bail from the court. The Allahabad High Court on Thursday granted bail to Ashish Mishra, the son of Union minister Ajay Mishra Teni, who was arrested in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri violence that killed eight people including four farmers. In the recently announced annual regular results of 12th standard, Kashmir division has recorded the worst results after a gap of two years. This year Kashmir division witnessed an overall pass percentage of 74.92 percent. A large chunk of dry grass and bushes caught fire in Brari-Nambal area of Babademb Srinagar. An official from Fire and Emergency Services told news agency Kashmir News Trust that fire was put out after hard efforts. He said that a large chunk of Nambal had caught fire damaging dry grass and bushes.
