A major tragedy was averted at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLNM) Hospital in Rainawari area of Srinagar on Monday afternoon. Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a major fire tragedy was averted at 1000 LPM Oxygen Generation Plant at JLNM hospital. They said that heaps of scrap at Oxygen Plant caught fire inside the premises of the building, creating panic among the attendants. Jammu Kashmir reported 6253 positive cases for covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while seven deaths have been reported across the region, officials said on Sunday.
