Jammu Kashmir reported a major spike as 6568 persons tested positive for covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while seven deaths have been reported across the region, officials said on Saturday. An official speaking to The Kashmiriyat confirmed that 6568 cases were reported in the region in the last 24 hours- 1875 of these fresh cases were reported from the Jammu division and 4693 from Kashmir. 2230 patients recovered in Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday- 993 from Jammu Division and 1337 from Kashmir Division. A joint team of Kupwara Police and Army 160 TA here has apprehended one OGW namely, Fareed Ahmad Chowhan on of Shamas Din Chowhan resident of Reshwari, Awoora, aged 33 , Ward Member Zurhama, Kupwara.
