A woman died under mysterious conditions at her in-laws house in Koot Kapren area of Dooru in South Kashmiris Anantnag district. Official sources told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a woman identified as Mahjabeena, wife of Rouf Ahmad Shah died under mysterious circumstances at her in laws house. Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday reported one death and 104 fresh positive cases of COVID-19, thus taking the number of total active cases in the Union Territory to 1,327. With one more death, the death toll in J&K has reached 4,514 and 104 fresh positive cases reported on Tuesday have pushed the tally of positive cases to 340,036. Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of Lashkar-i-Toiba in North Kashmir's Baramulla district. A senior police officer told GNS that a militant associate of LeT was arrested during Naka checking at Kralhar railway station.
