The Jammu Development Authority (JDA) has sent a notice to former deputy chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Nirmal Singh, asking him to remove illegally constructed house within five days. The JDA in a notice, dated 08-12-2021, a copy of which lies with the news agency-Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads that in case the illegal construction is not removed within five days, the JDA will utilise its enforcement wing for the removal. With 30% relaxation in syllabi, Class 8th exams to be conducted on MCQs based

Authorities on Wednesday said that the Term-II examination of 8th standard will be conducted on Multiple Choice Question (MCQs) based with thirty percent syllabi relaxation. In a notification issued by the State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) of Jammu and Kashmir, the Term-II examination of 8th standard students will be conducted for the students of Kashmir Division and Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division that will commence from November-22. Jammu and Kashmir government has on Wednesday announced a one-time age relaxation to the sub-inspector post aspirants besides increasing the overall Union Territory posts from 800 to 1200. The Office of Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir, as per GNS, made the announcement via a tweet. “Following representation from various delegations, the Govt has taken a decision to provide one-time age relaxation for aspirants in the recruitment of Sub-inspectors in @JmuKmrPolice. 2 injured as militants lob grenade at security forces in Srinagar area

Militants on Wednesday lobbed grenade at security forces at Eidgah in Srinagar. Reports suggest that the grenade was lobbed by the militants at a police party in Aali Masjid, Eidgah area of the city. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 2 people have been injured in the incident. A policeman and a civilian have been injured after the incident. On Tuesday, an Israeli court delayed the sentence of Palestinian detainee in Israeli jails, Alaa Al-Araj, who has been on an open-ended hunger strike for 95 days, Quds News Network reported. Al-Araj’s family said that Israel’s Court has delayed the sentence of their son as he has been on an open-ended hunger strike for 95 consecutive days against his unfair administrative detention without a charge or a trial in Israeli jails.
