A 48-year-old man died after he slipped from a high mountain peak in Damhal Hanjipora area of South Kashmir's Kulgam district, officials said on Saturday. An official told the news agency that the man identified as Shakeel Ahmad Magray (50) son of Abdul Razaq Magray, a resident of Watoo Kulgam had gone for a picnic in the nearby forest area, where he slipped from a mountain peak, resulting in his on-spot death. The Delimitation Commission has met all the delegations on the last day of their four-day visit. Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra, who was accompanying the commission on the last day of the tour, said that after the delimitation determination, 7 assembly seats will increase in the state. Chandra also said that the draft of the commission will be placed among the public and objections will also be sought on it.
