Dalit Community in Jammu Fearful After Being Attacked by Brahmins for Using the Village Well
According to a recent report of The Wire, individuals from the Dalit people group of Malarh People in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur locale have been living in a condition of consistent dread after some of them were assaulted by individuals from the generally favored Brahmin people group in the evening of June 9.
The assault occurred four days after two Dalit ladies were forestalled by three men from the Brahmin people group from getting water from the town notable as Panduan de Khu (the well of the Pandavas) on June 5.
