WhatsApp moves Delhi HC against Centre’s recently imposed IT Rules

WhatsApp on Wednesday moved the Delhi High Court against the Centre’s recently imposed IT Rules that would require the messaging services to “trace” the origin of particular messages sent on the service. WhatsApp through its statement said, “Requiring messaging apps to ‘trace’ chats is the equivalent of asking us to keep a fingerprint of every single message sent on WhatsApp, which would break end-to-end encryption and fundamentally undermines people’s right to privacy.” The WhatsApp spokesperson said, “We have consistently joined civil society and experts around the world in opposing requirements that would violate the privacy of our users. Saudi Arab Closes its Air space to Israeli Flights for Unknown reasons

As per latest news reports emerging from the Middle East, Saudi Arabia had temporarily closed its airspace to Israeli flights for unknown reasons. On Tuesday, an Israel Airline flight got delayed for 5 hours at the Ben Gurion Airport before departing for Dubai. The flight was supposed to take off at 9 am local time, but it was delayed because Saudi Arabia refused to grant the necessary permits. Although, an El Al flight had taken off for Dubai, the same afternoon with permission to fly through Saudi airspace. Saudi Arabia had said earlier in November, that they would allow Israeli flights to use their airspace en route to Dubai. White Fungus Can be Deadly: Says DAK

On Tuesday, the Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) said Aspergillosis, commonly known as white fungus, could be deadly in Covid-19 patients. After black fungus, several cases of white fungus have been reported in Uttar Pradesh among recovered Covid-19 patients. “White fungus could be just as fatal as black fungus in Covid-19 patients,” said DAK President and influenza expert Dr. Nisar ul Hassan. Quoting a study of 186 Covid-19 patients who had Aspergillosis, he said more than 50 percent of them died, and one-third of these deaths were linked to the Aspergillus fungus.
