On Sunday, in the Akrabad area of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, a 16 year Dalit girl went missing after she left home in the afternoon to collect fodder for the cattle from the fields but till evening she didn’t return. After that, her family members started searching for her and she was found dead in a field. Her family alleged she was raped, following which villagers pelted stones on police. Militant Associate Arrested in Pulwama, Says Police

The Government Forces claimed to have arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district. An official told The Kashmiriyat that the 42 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police raided a location in Laroo Jageer area of Tral in Pulwama later on Sunday during which one militant associate was detained along with a hand grenade. The official identified the detained youth as Muzammil Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat a resident of Tral in Pulwama who was also working at the toll Plaza in Awantipora. The Jammu Kashmir Police has lodged an FIR and started an investigation into the matter.
