BJP has Nothing to Show, They Befool People with National Flag- Says PDP
Alleging that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) was using National flag to whip up sentiments of people for votes, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said the saffron party leaders themselves show disrespect to it (flag).
Media advisor to Mehbooba Mufti, president of the PDP, Syed Suhail Bukhari taking to micro blogging site Twitter on Monday said “Bhartiya Polarization Party @BJP4India would lecture people on the respect to Tricolor, invent imaginary cases of disrespect to the flag to whip sentiments for votes & themselves do this. Shame!”

Jammu Kashmir police said that they have booked an advocate for ‘hurting’ the religious sentiments of a community.
Police said that Advocate Deepika Singh Rajawat has been booked under sections 295A and 505 (b) (2) of the IPC for creating enmity and hatred between different groups of people.

Heaps of Paddy Crops Burnt by Unknown Persons in Anantnag Area

Heaps of paddy dry Grass were gutted in a mysterious blaze at Chee area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday evening.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that heaps of Paddy crops of nearly 4000 bundles belonging to Azad Ah Dar, Manzoor Ah Dar, Abdul Aziz Ganie & 3500 bundles of Mohd Ashraf Rather were reduced to ashes.
"The fire has been brought under control after desperate attempts by the F&E Service Deptt and locals to douse off the flames," an official said.
He said that the police reached the spot and assured the locals that anybody found involved in this crime will be dealt strictly.

A four year old boy namely Anzar Ahmad Son of Jan Mohammad Bhat Resident of Nowpora Dooru in Anantnag reportedly lost his life after being stuck in traffic jam for a long time.
