According to a Reuters report, two Indian officials have suggested that despite India-China's high-level meetings to de-escalate tensions at the Line of Actual Control (LAC), China is preparing for the long run as they are reportedly laying a network of optical fibre cables south of Pangong Lake in Ladakh.
