Unknown Gunmen fire at Civilian in Sopore

May 28 Shabir Khan Unknown gunmen on Tuesday evening shot a civilian in Zaloora area of Sopore in North Kashmir's Baramulla District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen injured a civilian by firing at him in Sopore area. The injured man was rushed to SDH Handwara where he is being treated. Hospitak officials confirmed his identity as Feroz Ahmed Gojri, a resident of Zaloora in Sopore. The forces immediately reached the spot and laid a siege around the area. Details emerging.

May 28 Two Militants have been killed in the encounter between militants and Government forces at Kachwan area in Kokernag belt of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Officials told The Kashmiriyat  that a team of 19 RR,Jammu Kashmir Police was fired upon by Militants in the Kachwan area, after which the Army retaliated to the firing. The Forces retaliated and the exchange of fire in which two Militant have been killed, while the firing at the encounter site is still going on.
