May 28 Rayees Shah Clashes erupted in Government Degree College Ganderbal on Tuesday afternoon after the students early morning held a sit in to protest the  killing of Zakir Musa on Friday. A Student while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said students in large numbers holding placards and shouting pro Freedom slogans demanded an end to the ongoing killing spree in Kashmir. May 28 One Militant has been killed in the exchange of gunfire between militants and Government forces at Kachwan area in Kokernag belt of South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) District. Sources told The Kashmiriyat  that a team of 19 RR was fired upon by Militants in the Kachwan area, after which the Army retaliated to the firing. The Forces retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for at least fifteen minutes, as per sources. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that one Militant has been killed in the exchange of gunfire, while the firing at the encounter site is still going on. May 28 Gunshots have been heard during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Kachwan area of Larnoo in Kokernag area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) District. Reports reaching to The Kashmiriyat said that a joint team of Army 19 RR, and Special Operation Group (SOG) the area. A police Source Confirmed the incident and said that the cordon was launched following inputs about the Movement of some suspected militants. May 27 The Southern part of Kashmir including Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian and Islamabad (anantnag) has shut down for the fourth consecutive day to mourn the killing of Zakir Musa. Educational institutes, Mobile internet services, Oil Stations and business establishments are shut against the killing of Zakir Musa on Friday. The Kashmiriyat was informed that traffic is off the roads, while business establishments are also shut. Hundreds of people are still visiting the house of Slain Zakir Musa in Noorpora Tral.

May 26 In his last video, Zakir Rashid Bhat alias Musa shot likely a few minutes ahead of the encounter that raged in Dadasara area of Tral in South Kashmir's Pulwama District. In this video, which is clicked at the house in which Zakir Musa, India's most wanted Militant commander in Kashmir was killed after a fierce gunfight of 11 hours, the house was later burnt down to ashes. "I bid farewell to you all, now it is my time to die, i bid farewell to my nation, strikes surely are no way to end this conflict, but only fighting is," Zakir is heard saying this short video. The clip is doing rounds on social media and has already gone viral.

May 26 A 25-year-old Muslim man from Bihar has been allegedly thrashed and forced to chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Sri Ram’ by an unidentified person in Gurgaon last night. The assailant allegedly threw his skull cap to the ground while assaulting him, The incident happened while the youth was on his way back home after attending a prayer service at a mosque. Earlier, three Muslim men were thrashed after being tied to a tree by a group for allegedly carrying beef in an autorickshaw at a village in Madhya Pradesh. May 26 Faisal Bashir Locals of Dharmuna in Budgam district on Sunday held a protest demonstration against the arrest of seven teenage boys by Government Forces during a protest against the killing of Zakir Musa on Thursday. Four of them who were minors have been released by the Indian Army, while two of them have been tortured inside the custody by Army, the family alleged. "Two of the arrested youth have been let off in injured condition by army," adding that one of them has been shifted to SKIMS and the other one has been shifted to JVC Bemina for treatment.
