Forces Launch CASO In Kulgam, Pulwama Areas

KULGAM
March 04 A cordon and search operation (CASO) has been launched by Government Forces in Bugam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday afternoon, RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a search operation in Lone Mohalla area of Bugam in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Following inputs about Militant movement in the area, the forces blocked all the entry and exit points of the area.   Meanwhile 55RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police launched another search operation in Rajpora area of South Kashmir's Pulwama district. A door to door search operation had been launched when this report was filed.

March 04 Shabir Khan Thousands of people on Monday reached Sopore to attend the funeral prayers of a local Lashkar e Taiba h militant who was killed in an encounter in Langate area of North Kashmir's Kupwara district. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that thousands of people defying the cold thronged the native of Ishfaq Majeed Mir in Brath Kalan area of Sopore to attend the funeral of the slain Militant. ‘Doctor Negligence’ Causes Second Death in Less Than a Month at District Hospital Islamabad (anantnag)

March 04 In yet another shocking incident, a family from South Kashmir's Qazigund a patient admitted in the hospital died due to the negligence of doctors at this biggest hospital of South Kashmir. Manzoor Ahmed, a Family member of Rafiq Banoo aged 38 alleged that Rafiqa was admitted to the hospital late evening on Saturday after she complained of severe pain. "We tried to seek the help of Doctors, however no doctor was available to help us, there was not even a single doctor to diagnose the patient," he told The Kashmiriyat. 17 Year Old Boy Alleges Torture By Army, “They Bloodied my Whole Body with Knives”

March 03 A 17- year old boy, Ikhlas Ahmed Bhat, resident of Adar area of Khanabal area of South Kashmir's Islamabad (anantnag) has alleged torture by Indian Army on the wee hours of Sunday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday afternoon, 44 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a search operation in Zainbathoo area of Malikgund in South Kashmir's Shopian District. Following inputs about Militant movement in the area, the forces blocked all the entry and exit points of the area. Indian Media Claims Azhar Masood is Dead

March 03 A day after Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar is "unwell", a report by News 18 on Sunday, 3 March claimed that Azhar is dead. Azhar-led JeM last month claimed the attack in Pulwama district that claimed the lives of 40 CRPF jawans. According to the report, top sources in Pakistan told News 18 that Azhar died on Saturday. The cause of death is unknown.
