December 15 The Jammu Kashmir late Saturday afternoon issued a statement into the Pulwama encounter and the following civilian killings. Landslide Hits Srinagar- Jammu National Highway

December 15 Traffic was suspended on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, leaving hundreds of vehicles stranded as a landslide occurred Gangroo area at Ramsoo District. The landslide struck the highway along the Banihal-Ramban stretch and the road clearance operation had been taken up to ensure early resumption of vehicle movement. One-way traffic on the highway resumed on Friday after being closed for two days due to snowfall, The road closure had left over 1,800 vehicles stranded. Traffic on the highway plies alternately from the twin capitals of Srinagar and Jammu to ensure smooth movement of vehicles.

December 15 A complete shutdown is being observed in South Kashmir including main towns of Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, Islamabad (Anantnag) against the killing of seven civilians and three Militants in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir's Pulwama District.
