A Palestinian journalist was killed today in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip, Palestine’s WAFA news agency reported.
According to WAFA, Mohammad Salhi was killed by an Israeli army bullet while covering the events at the border east of al-Bureij, in the central Gaza Strip.
Earlier, Palestine’s Hamas militant group launched a surprise rocket attack on Israel killing at least 100 Israelis.
A few hours after Israel launched a counterattack on Palestine, over 200 Palestinians were killed.
Meanwhile, international organisations have urged both countries to stop the escalation immediately.
