
Two more unidentified militants were killed in Pattan gunfight today, taking the number of total slain militants to three. An army major and two SoG personnel sustained injuries in an encounter at Yeddipora area in Pattan, north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
“Two more unidentified militants were killed. In total, three unidentified militants were killed,” a police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)
He said that the army officer who was earlier injured was stable the two SoG men who sustained injuries are also out of danger.
“Search operation is being conducted in the area to rule out the presence of any other militant,” he said.
