Injured five days ago while restoring electricity, a casual labourer of the Power development department succumbed to his injuries at Srinagar’s SKIMS hospital.

Officials of the department speaking to The Kashmiriyat confirmed that Shabir Ahmed Dar who fell off an electric pole on Sunday while repairing faulty lines in Kulgam district’s Bogund area succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning.
They said that his body has been handed over to his family for the performance of his last rites.
