A daily wager of the Power Development Department was electrocuted to death on Friday afternoon in the Anantnag district of south Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that Sawlat Bhat son of Mohammed Rafiq Bhat aged around 28 was repairing a faulty line in the Buchoo area of Dooru when he was electrocuted.
He was shifted to the hospital, where the doctors declared her ‘brought dead’ on arrival, the official said.
The Police have taken cognizance of the incident and taken up further investigations.
